Waste to wealth
I've just come upon this book and it has great reviews. Written by two senior managers at #accenture https://www.accenture.com/us-en/new-applied-now it talks about the advantages of a #circulareconomy and not just from an altruistic point of view.
They argue the benefits of an economy built to last; how that builds businesses and not only how to avoid waste but to make money from it. Because a) we all need to pay our mortgages (if we're lucky enough to have one) and b) the impact of waste is increasingly unjustifiable. But it's also the right thing to do.
Accenture's mission is here and https://www.accenture.com/gb-en/company-corporate-citizenship it aims to improve the way the world works and lives, so this project was a good fit and is evidence that as a business they are willing to invest in what they believe in.
This is about creating a disruptive force to drive change - they argue that we only have so much time to do this before the world is changed irreparably
